Hate is a loudmouth bully.
Hate is a loudmouth bully.
Welcome to points to ponder with Saint Pierre.
Most of the walk was enjoyable until passing this one house.
This House had a fenced yard, but that yard contained 2 vicious Dobermans.
As I walked past the yard each day, the Dobermans would bark at me ferociously.
They would let me know, undoubtedly, that they were waiting for the opportunity.
To tear me into pieces, their teeth were intimidating.
Their bark incited in me all kinds of fear.
Their constant pursuit of my blood delegitimize my human existence.
To them, I guess I was just a piece of meat.
Many of us are familiar with bullies.
It boldly proclaims self worth.
Everyone else is just a pawn in the game.
True power is demonstrated when others are celebrated and lifted.
It is displayed when individuality and differences are appreciated.
Intimidation is not the place of power.
Hate does not just want to intimidate, it also wants the insight.
Hate wants the insights of mission.
It wants you to bow down to it.
Its thunderous Bart desires to make you cower in fear, paralyzed by terror and unable to move.
Hate wants to render you powerless if it can get you to flinch, it can take away your power.
It uses certain words and slang to inflict insult onto others.
It might call Arabs *** *****.
It might call Mexicans Taco heads or Native Americans Redskins.
Most notably, is the term spoken upon black Americans, Niger.
Niger was and is, a word full of contempt, hate, and evil.
Hearing it can incite all kinds of feelings, depending on the context.
This loud mouth says things to question your racial purity.
It loves to stir up confusion around your birthright or citizenship.
Its goal is to treat you as less than human, less than animals in some cases.
Even babies are not exempt from such delegitimization.
The term Gator babies in the US refers to black babies that were used as bait to lure alligators.
Human babies were used as alligator bait.
They also called Jewish descendants of Holocaust survivors oven dodgers.
Really true or not, the very hint of this is evidence of hates, unconscionable evil.
How sick and delusional someone must be.
Such hatefulness is not only absurd, but it is also evil, wicked and flat out ungodly, reducing.
To such terms as why hate deserves, at a minimum, a good punch in its loud mouth.
We see this in the negative comments in Instagram or Facebook posts where it loves to lurk.
We read this in endless tweets from mindless Twitter trolls that feed off the pain of others.
To the point of deafening as it tries to intimidate, insight and delegitimize.
At some point, and as often as necessary, it needs to be confronted.
Remember those barking dogs, I?
Eventually I did not react in fear.
Instead, I asserted my own confidence, even barked back at them.
They left me alone after that.
Soul is nourished when you are kind, but you destroy yourself when you are cruel.

Proverbs 15 four gentle words bring life and health.
